TLDR & Reminders (Links at the end)

HR | Beti Self-Service Update
Great news — since rolling out Beti, employees are handling 95–99% of their own timekeeping entries, including punch changes, clock-ins and outs, and hour entries. That is a meaningful win for everyone. A few reminders to keep the momentum going:
  • Employees should be completing their own punch changes, clocking in/out, and submitting time-off requests independently
  • Time-off requests are one area where we still have room to improve — encourage your teams to manage these themselves in Paycom
HR | Courtesy Officer Timekeeping Compliance
A reminder for managers who have courtesy officers on site:
  • Courtesy officers are part-time, non-exempt W-2 employees and must be onboarded through Paycom
  • They are required to clock in at the start of every shift and clock out at the end
  • There is no minimum hours requirement — hours should align with budget and actual work performed
  • Please review timecards regularly to ensure accuracy and FLSA compliance
Accounting | Credit Card Fraud — Action Required
We experienced approximately $12,000 in credit card fraud last month. Please take a moment to protect your card:
  • Sign up for Visa Purchase Alerts at purchasealerts.visa.com, it's free and sends instant text or email notifications for every transaction
  • If you suspect fraud, submit a support ticket immediately; include your full card number, last known authorized use, authorized users, and disputed transaction details
  • Code disputed charges (and any credits) to expense code 1-1220-1000 — if you don't have access to this code, note it in your ticket
Operations | Budget Bootcamp Prep — Start Now
Budget season is approaching and there are a few things to get in order before Boot Camp:
  • Clean up all reclasses and accruals now
  • Gather service contracts and add them to your 2027 Budget folder on the 2027 SharePoint site
  • Collect bids for capital projects and enter them into the 2027 forecast — make sure to use 2027 as the project date
  • Proactively ask your vendors about any anticipated rate increases for 2027 and factor those into your planning
Marketing | New Resources Available
Two new resources are ready for your teams:
  • Apartment IQ Training: On-demand training is now available. Search "Market Survey 101" in the Help Center within Apartment IQ to access the foundational training webinar covering navigation, market surveys, automated reporting, and support resources.
  • Resident Appreciation Summer Series Toolkit: The marketing team has built out a full set of customizable Canva templates (event flyers, social media graphics, caption suggestions, and Google review signage) to support summer resident events. Access the toolkit through the Marketing Portal on Tapestry Commons. Each property also has a unique Google Review QR code available there, so use it on your event materials!

A Quick Reminder About AIM Invites ?
AIM meetings are scheduled one quarter at a time and the distribution list does not automatically update with new hires or role changes. Please continue forwarding meeting invites and recaps to new team members as they join so everyone stays in the loop.
